Megjegyzések:The social-economic approach in rice production emphasizes the importance of understanding and solving social and economic problems related to the agricultural sector. The Ongoing economic changes, competition for resources from other sectors, environmental changes and the increasing commercialization of rice farming mean that the way rice is produced in the future will be very different. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the relationship between rice productivity and economic indicators on maintaining sustainable food security. This research uses the HDI variable instrument as an intervening variable using panel data from 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2018-2023, which was tested using the REM, CEM, and FEM models. It is known that simultaneously, economic indicators, namely land area, productivity, inflation, poverty index, rice consumption, and population, have an effect on the amount of rice production; however, in partial testing through sub structural model 1 testing, it was found that productivity and rice consumption had no impact on the intervening variables HDI and sub structural test 2 found that partial inflation, poverty index, rice consumption, and population had no effect on the amount of rice production. Despite a series of tests, the results remained consistent. In the future, it is necessary to develop a new vision for rice farming, such as exploring food security and technology, and drafting strategic policy reforms, considering global trends and the unstable economic scenario

Megjegyzések:As the 2024 elections in Indonesia draw attention, the issue of democracy on universities is often overlooked. Despite the political nature of power dynamics within universities, debates about campus democracy can create tension and harm the academic environment; such conflicts can negatively affect community, cooperation, and mutual respect among students and faculty. This study aims to help universities make better governance decisions, focusing on transparency, accountability, and other key factors. This article emphasizes the geopolitical risk effect in higher education circumstances, which was then developed as a basis for finding solutions for the sustainability of higher education in Indonesia. This research uses the PRISMA systematic literature review method to assist researchers in reporting transparently and systematically why the review was carried out, what the author did, and what was found which was then analyzed using the SLR method which was carried out systematically by following the correct research stages or protocols, includes review studies, structured evaluations, classification and relevant categorization of previously generated evidence bases. As a result Universities behoove sterile from elements of power or, in other words, have political immunity; the functions and roles of campuses need to be revitalized and decontextualized in campus democracy from any political anomaly that causes turmoil. In addition, this research can help stakeholders at the political level to provide consideration in granting full autonomy to campuses both in academic and non-academic aspects.

Megjegyzések:The operating environment of business organizations has clearly changedcurrently. Given the complex context marked by globalization, intensifying competition, and rapidly changing consumer demands, it is not enough for managers to focus solely on the financial performance of businesses. The Balanced Scorecard model, as a multi-perspective, comprehensive, balanced indicator system helps implement multidisciplinary corporate management. The following analysis focuses on the corporate controlling function, its development and tasks and then on the Balanced Scorecard, which is closely related to controlling. The model aims to capture the operation of organizations from financial, customer, internal business and learning and growth perspectives and to linktheir strategy map to causally related indicators. The paper also looks into a possible way of developing the model in practice using a fictitious companyas an example. A balanced system of indicators can be developed after defining its central strategy, making a thorough analysis of its external and internal environment and establishing strategic sub-objectives. With the help of the Balanced Scorecard, the quantified directions needed to achieve a strategic goal can be determined based on understandable, interrelating indicators.

Megjegyzések:The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between economic growth and changes in consumption of macronutrients and raw materials in the Visegrad countries. Data on diet are from the World Health Organization's HFA online database, while GDP per capita data are from the Penn World Table database from 1993 to 2018. Spearman rank correlation with correlation coefficients was used to analyse the relationship between economic growth, average number of calories available per person per day (kcal), protein available per person per day (g), average amount of cereal available per person per year (kg), average amount of fruit and vegetables available per person per year (kg), and fat available per person per day (g). As economic activity increased in the Visegrad countries, the average number of calories available per person per day also increased. Also, there is a significant relationship between economic growth and the changes in consumption of macronutrients and raw materials in the Visegrad countries, although, some exceptions were identified. Based on our findings decision-makers within the Visegrad countries should strengthen policies promoting a healthier diet.

Megjegyzések:By preventing traffic accidents, the economic burden on health care can be reduced. The aim of our research was to examine the relationship between road traffic accidents with injuries and changes in the number of passenger cars per thousand inhabitants with regard to economic development and alcohol consumption in the Alpine region. A study on the ecological relationships was conducted for the Alpine countries that had data going back at least 20 years. Spearman's rank correlations were used for analysis. Road traffic accidents involving injuries were significantly and negatively correlated with years, Gross domestic product and cars per thousand inhabitants. A significant positive correlation was found between road traffic accidents and alcohol consumption. In conclusion, an increase in the number of cars in itself does not lead to more accidents and avoidable deaths in any country. Therefore, policy makers should consider investigating the introduction of zero tolerance in these countries.

Cím:Qualitative assessment of precision dairy farming impact on farm sustainability in Ukraine: the farmers' perspective / Anastasiia Burdiuzha

Megjegyzések:The general objective of this research was to investigate one of the management approaches ? precision dairy farming (PDF) and based on the example of Ukrainian dairy farms to assess its impact on environmental, economic and social pillars of sustainability. For conducting the study an inductive approach was used, which involved the development of a theory as a result of the observation of empirical data. Primary data was collected through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires via phone, with owners and managers of cow dairy farms of varied categories. In total, 17 dairy farmers took part in the study. Results showed that precision dairy farming technologies are being moderately used in Ukrainian farms. 41% of the participants (seven out of 17) are applying these tools in their farms. Most of the respondents indicated positive impact of PDF technologies on sustainability of farms. Particularly, financial performance of the farms has improved, health conditions of cattle got better and working conditions of the staff amended. Regarding environmental effects, it is hard to draw conclusions since none of the farms was measuring them.
