Megjegyzések:The aim of this paper is to derive an extension of the Taylor theorem related to linear differential operators with constant coefficients. For this aim, using divided differences with repeated arguments, the so-called characteristic element from the kernel of the differential operator is described. The extension of the Taylor theorem related to exponential polynomials and its consequences are established with integral remainder terms as well as in the form of mean value type theorems.

Megjegyzések:The goal of this paper was to study the oscillations of a class of fourth-order nonlinear delay differential equations with a middle term. Novel oscillation theorems built on a proper Riccati-type transformation, the comparison approach, and integral-averaging conditions were developed, and several symmetric properties of the solutions are presented. For the validation of these theorems, several examples are given to highlight the core results.

Megjegyzések:A matematikaoktatás egyik célja, hogy életszerű problémák megoldásával felkészítse a diákokat a mindennapi életben való eligazodásra. Így a szöveges feladatok előfordulása a matematikaórán a problémamegoldó képesség és a szövegértés fejlesztése miatt elsődlegesen fontos. A szöveges feladatok megoldásához szükséges készségek meglétét a frissen felvételt nyert tanító szakos hallgatók körében vizsgáltuk, az online felmérésben szereplő feladatokat alsó tagozatos tankönyvekből válogattuk. Az eredmények arra engednek következtetni, hogy a feladatmegoldásban jelentkező hibák nem elsősorban az aritmetikai ismeretek hiányából, hanem a szövegértésnek, illetve a szöveges feladatban megfogalmazott probléma vizualizációjának a nehezítettségéből fakadnak.

Megjegyzések:The author of this paper is a mathematics teacher in Romania, and she is interested in students` motivation and attitude towards mathematics. Teachers face challenges in the online learning environment, such as fewer direct social interactions, one of the effects of which is a reduced possibility of motivation. In collaboration with two academic experts and another teacher from Hungary, the research group sought answers to these challenges. In two-round action research, the impact of problem-posing on motivation was investigated. Informed by the experience of the other teacher in the first round, the author redesigned the second round, with more emphasis on emotional factors. The author argues that problem-posing can be successfully adapted during online learning, and by incorporating interpersonal interactions into the problem-posing process, the reduced motivational effect observed in online learning can be compensated.

Megjegyzések:It is a common assumption that taking a mathematics course and passing the exam means that one has mastered the course requirements and gained a sufficiently deep understanding of the course material. According to the communication part of the Van Hiele Theory, if someone does not reach the expected entry-level, they won't be able to develop during the course. In our research, we investigated this contradiction in the field of geome try. We examined this phenomenon with mathematics major and pre-service mathematics teacher students during their first geometry course.
