Megjegyzések:	Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease with a myriad of presentation and called 'the great impostor' for the variety of the symptoms. As a venereal disease it is transmissible mainly by sexual contact with infectious lesions but can spread by blood contamination. Without treatment it progresses through early and late syphilis. Since the introduction of penicillin its prevalence has strongly dropped but was never eradicated entirely. As the frequency and the progression are largely controlled there are several symptoms which are not common and can be a difficult differential diagnostic problem nowadays. The authors present a case where decades passed between the primary event and the actual hospitalisation with fever of unknown origin and coexistent swollen joint deformities. The patient was not treated entirely from his primary event and later, psoriasis was settled as a diagnosis, which was the cause of neglecting the secondary phase's skin lesions.

Megjegyzések:	Dislocation of the ulnar nerve is uncommon among the general population, but it has been reported more frequently in athletes who use their upper limbs to make forceful and resisted fl exion of elbow joint. The authors report a unique case of ulnar nerve dislocation in an elite wrestler treated by partial epicondylectomy and subcutaneous transposition of the ulnar nerve. Following the surgery, a supervised and well-designedsport-specific rehabilitation program is a necessary requirement for a rapid return to sport. Such a program requires a bilateral consultation and collaboration between treating physician and trainer of the wrestler. The athlete regained his full function and returned to wrestling after a 3-month sport-specifi c functional rehabilitation program.

Megjegyzések:	Morel-Lavallée syndrome of the tibia is a rarely published entity which needs special attention in the treatment of the degloving injury conjoined with tibial fracture. The authors present the case of a radiologically easily manageable tibial fracture complicated by soft tissue damage. The authors discuss the pertinent literature, the pitfalls and controversies of the treatment and the authors would like to offer our suggestions for minimising the complications.
