Megjegyzések:	Effect of spray schemes with sulphur and lime sulphur either alone or in various combinations with other fungicidal products were evaluated for phytotoxicity and scab control over three years in a search for better primary scab control in organically maintained apple orchards. The results show that sprays of 0.5 % wettable sulphur might be applied successfully in a 5?7-day protectant schedule under low disease pressure during primary infection season. During the same period, poor efficacy of 0.5 % wettable sulphur sprays was observed under heavy spring disease pressure. Sprays of 0.75 % wettable sulphur combined with 0.05 % or 0.1 % copper hydroxide, or sprays of 0.2?0.5 % wettable sulphur combined with 2 % lime sulphur gave better control of primary scab. However, the effectiveness of these combined treatments was less than that of conventional reference fungicides and their phytotoxicity was higher compared to treatments with wettable sulphur alone or with conventional reference fungicides. Results indicate that lime sulphur in combination with elementary sulphur might replace copper fungicides with respect to its efficacy against scab. Evaluated schedules with approved fungicidal products used in organic growing are presented and the practical implications of the results are discussed.
