Megjegyzések:	As the consequences of recompaction of the soil the infiltration capacity and the hydraulic conductivity of the soil get worse, the risk of inundations increases, the biological activity and the aeration decrease. The compacted layers formed in the soil impede the water and nutrient uptake of the plants and the normal development of roots. The degradation and compaction of the soil can be caused both by natural factors and human activities, but mainly by improper soil cultivation. Setting the ploughlands aside does not solve the problem of soil compaction. The formerly created degraded layers do not improve themselves, therefore proper preliminary soil state improvement is necessary before starting the set-aside. The soils of pastures also need occasional treatments in order to improve the soil state degraded by the grazing animals. Deep looseners are effective tools against the compacted soil layers, while grassland treating rollers are suitable for the improvement of pasture quality through improving the water- and air-regime of the soil.
