Megjegyzések:	The aim of the Research Center to make new varieties with good adaptability to the climate of the region. The one of the most important aims of the breeding includes increasing the resistance against the different biotic and abiotic stresses. In the last years the resistance against abiotic stress came to the focus of the breeders. The extreme environmental conditions can cause huge damage in the pea crop. Therefore our aim includes breeding forward the drought and freeze tolerant varieties. One of the most important aspects is the resistance against diseases. The recognized green pea varieties are resistant to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. pisi I. race, without this resistance it is impossible to receive state qualification in Hungary. There is an increasing problem with the presence and infection of Fusarium solani. Therefore our aim was to test the resistance of the starting varieties, other varieties and the breeding populations to Fusarium solani. There are 183 green pea genotypes in our variety collection. Every year 50-60 varieties were sowed beside net, consider the germination ability. We make the observations by UPOV in every variety. The parent-partners used for crossing were chosen according to our earlier observation of this variety collection. (parents: 1: Léda, 2: Margó, 3: Foremos, 4: Presto, 5: Mariza, 6: Early sweet, 7: Debreceni korai velő 8: Horymir, 9: Kijevszkij korai, 10: Early snap). The aim of the breeding work was to create a new, extra early variety and an early variety with a high yielding productivity. We made the crossings in 2001 and 2002 beside net.
