Megjegyzések:In the present study the authors compared the populations of four cemeteries namely Hajdúdorog-Gyúlás ( 10th century), Hajdúdorog-Temetőhegy (11th century), Hajdúdorog-Katidűlő (12-13th c.)and Hajdúdorog-Szállásföld (12-13th c.) dated back to the age of the Hungarianconquest and Arpadian age, from a paleodemographical point of view. Previous studies have alredy suggested that there was a discontinuity in the populations history between the 10th and the 11th centuries and continuity between the 11th and the 12th centuries based on craniological investigations. The demographical examination presented in this paper also refers to some kind of discontinuity between the 10th and the 11th centuries but there is no evidence of continuity between the 11th and 12-13th centuries. The moderate similarity of Katidűlő and Szállásföld might have been connected to the way of life and exogenous circumstances which were typical of this age.
