Megjegyzések:	In connection with four case studies, the authors try to define the role of cyclosporin A in the treatment of primary Sj"gren's syndrome. Out of their 337 patients with primary Sj"gren's syndrome they used Cyclosporin A (Sandimmun) therapy in the above four cases. The drug was introduced because of extraglandular symptoms (polyarthritis, myositis, pneumonitis) and severe thrombocytopenia. Other immunosuppressive drugs had been used before the Sandimmun therapy but without any success. Sandimmun was administered in 5 milligram per kilogram of body mass (mg/kgbm) doses for an average of three weeks which led to the thrombocyte count. The treatment was continued for 3-9 months in 3 and 1 mg/kgbm doses which resulted in continuous symptomfree clinical status. Side effects, which could have necessitated the interruption of the treatment, were not observed.
