Megjegyzések:	Several clinical and serological studies have shown that the increase in immunoglobulin levels frequently occurs in Sj"gren's syndrome. The authors of the present study processed data of 261 patients with primary Sj"gren's syndrome, 53 of whom showed extraglandular signs. The incidence of hypergammaglobulinaemia, that of the increase of several subclasses, the link with extraglandular symptoms and the course of the disease were examined. The results show that the majority of patients with Sj"gren's syndrome and approximately 100 per cent of those with extraglandular signs have an increase in immunoglobulin levels. No obvious connection could be found between the presence of extraglandular signs and the increase in different immunoglobulin levels. In the imunoglobulin levels no change depending on the course of the disease could be proved. In conclusion, extraglandular signs appear more frequently in cases of increased immunoglobulin levels, so we consider observing these levels important.
