Megjegyzések:	The aim of this study is to analyze the attitudes and plans concerning workand the chances of employment of students taking part in higher education for MA orMSc degrees in a border region. Our aim is to map what kind of sociocultural variablesform these attitudes and plans and to which direction, and we also regard the effect ofthe institutions and faculties as outstanding. Comprehensive student examinations whichwere carried out earlier in the region but whose main profiles were not attitudes and ideasconcerning the labour market were also touched upon by the authors and are consideredto be the antecedents of this research in the evaluation of the results (Fényes, 2010;Kóródi, 2004; Ceglédi, Kardos and Tőzsér 2010). Our quantitative analysis is based onthe 2010 TERD research (The Impact of Tertiary Education on Regional Development).2In the course of mapping the relations percent distributions, crosstab analysis and factoranalysis were used. The results reveal that students' labour market attitudes and ideas arenot exactly in harmony with their chances of employment and that they are embedded inthe faculty and institutional structure of higher education. Moreover, they render the existenceof choices determined by cultural norms besides the rational decisions probable.
