Megjegyzések:	This paper presents research made for the development of ICT tools aimed to assist independent daily life of elderly or persons with disabilities. Our work represents synthesis of two research areas the smart assistive home and assistive robots intended to take advantage of living for as long as possible in familiar surroundings. In this way the system is patient centered, rather than institution centered, because it is designed to meet the needs of individuals, their families and caregivers. The robot uses a combination of sensors, actuators, RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, ZigBee, WI-FI technologies that allow vital parameters monitoring (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, etc.), detection of exceptional situations, and launch of an alarm in case of an emergency. With additional monitoring of other parameters, using acceleration sensors, gyroscope, can detect human daily activities and react to exceptional situations and thus help support the lifestyle of the elderly.
