Megjegyzések:	RuralJobs is a collaborative research project partly funded under the European Commission Research and Development 7th Framework Program (FP7). It involves partner institutions from eight Member States. University of Debrecen is the coordinator. RuralJobs will quantify labour market, demographic and economic trends, and the impact of employment creation measures and policies in six, representative "reference areas" across the EU, and use the information to demonstrate how rural development measures can be better targeted and how rural development policies should evolve. In the frame of RuralJobs project which aim is to identify new sources of employment to promote the wealth-generating capacity of rural communities, Deliverable 5.1.1 is about current employment patterns and opportunities for, and constraints on, rural economic diversification in two labour markets of the North Great Plain region in Hungary. These two LLSs served as case study areas to characterise two types of rural employment areas. Karcag LLS as predominantly rural, remote and developing and Hajdúszobozsló LLS as predominantly rural, accessible, developing areas were chosen.
