Megjegyzések:	This research paper aims to investigate the valid relationship between em-ployment and labour productivity in a sectoral approach. The primary objec-tive of this study is to analyse economic and employment growth tendencies of the period between 1980 and 2007 in various OECD countries. Thus, we followed a specific taxonomy to identify the main features of output per capita growth in different labour-skilled branches. Besides determining the sectoral differences of labour structure by standard statistics, we used a conditional convergence model with a dynamic panel regression method in our estimations. All in all, we could conclude that the high labour-skilled branches have achieved better economic and employment growth than the lower ones in most of the OECD countries. Analysing the time series panel data of these countries we also claim that productivity growth was impacted by employment differently in each sector.
