Megjegyzések:	The field research was carried out on fertile soil at the Látókép AGTC KIT research area of the University of Debrecen. In 2012, effects of plating time and fungicides on growth and yield were examined in four different genotypes of hybrid sunflowers (NK Neoma, NK Ferti, SY Revelio, PR64H42). We applied three different plating times (early, optimal, late) and two different treatment levels of fungicides (control = no fungicides applied, double fungicide protection).The leaf area index (LAI) ranged between 0,7 and 5.8 m2/m2 during the research. Highest LAI values were measured in various periods of the year irrespectively of planting times (early: middle of June ? except from hybrid NK Neoma; average: beginning of July; late: end of July). In the year of 2012, crop yield varied between 3126 and 5326 kg ha-1. We found that hybrid NK Neoma had the highest yield in both the cases of all three planting times and two fungicide treatments. Late planting time turned out to be optimal in the cases of the control and the two-time treated stocks as well. According to our examination, fungicide treatments enhanced yields. This result is also underpinned by the fact that yields in the control stand were lower than those of the double protected ones.
