Megjegyzések:The Hungarian Grey Cattle (HGC) behavioural response to environmental factors,under rangeland conditions, well represents the beef cattle's daily life, without humaninterference. Beside ethological observations, we have collected zoometeorologicalinformation, affecting cattle behaviour under natural conditions. We have found a verycomplex interaction (neuro-endocrine complex), which utilize different fields of sciencelike: meteorology, ethology, pharmacology, physics and agronomy. This paper's aim topresent our research-methods and results about environmental effects, in context ofanimal behaviour.The program has focused on animal behaviour, using GPS technology but alsoattempted to collect zoometorological data in alternative ways (ion count, barometricmeasurements). The applied research methods include spatial data recorded with GPScollars, meteorological information (barometric pressure, wind direction, temperature,weather fronts) and field reports about regular behavioural attributes.
