Megjegyzések:	This paper provides a comprehensive review on global agricultural challenges related to food and bioenergy production and potentials. The impacts on environment and land requirements are also discussed. With world population expected to reach 9 billion people before 2050, higher food, feed and fibre demand will place an increasing pressure on land and water resources, whose availability and productivity in agriculture may themselves be under threat from climate change. In addition, the use of biomass as an industrial feedstock (e.g. plastics) will become increasingly important (Popp et al., 2014). World food security can be attained, but asks for major investment in technology and innovations. The goal in agriculture should be the production of high-quality food and fibre at low cost and with minimal deleterious effects on humans or the environment. The effort to reach the goal must be based on sound fundamental and applied research, and decisions must be based on science. (Popp et al., 2013). Agronomic research has not yet discussed in detail the adaptations of agricultural techniques to global issues and the research challenges for agronomy (Makowski et al., 2014).
