Megjegyzések:	In our study we have attempted to demonstrate the impact of liquid waste storages on the groundwater levels via a case study using GIS software. The sewage is the most important source of contamination in settlements without drainage. We drilled test holes in the vicinity of a wastewater storage tank at the depth of 3 meter, and recorded the baseline groundwater levels. The results showed that the outflow wastewater has a significant impact on the direction of the flow of groundwater and on the elevation of the groundwater level. The distance between the holes located in the closest and the farthest places to the wastewater storage tank is only 25 m, however, the difference between the groundwater levels was significant: the largest difference was 117 cm. After the establishment of the drainage system the outflow of wastewater was eliminated, which has led to the change of the direction of groundwater flow, and the difference between the groundwater levels measured in the boreholes has decreased to a few centimeters.
