The study deals with realization of the urban heat island (UHI) in the town of Beregszász (Transcarpathia, Ukraine) with a population of 26 000. To examine the UHI mobile measurements were used in every decade in 2005. The main purpose was to establish the urban thermal excess in the different parts of a relatively small town, and to create an empirical model equation of the development of UHI in the separate parts of Beregszász effected by horizontal surface conditions.
