Megjegyzések:	Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) is one of world's foremost document indexing languages used in more than 130 countries world-wide and having been under continuous review since its invention more than one hundred years ago in order to ensure that it is always up-to-date.The main models of utilizing UDC in information retrieval systems are handling codes as simple keywords, building a so-called KWOC-index of the parts of them and managing authority files; neither is entirely capable of reflecting the flexibility and complexity of the language.However, modern descriptive and programming languages make it possible to develop a system which is able to analyze and describe the inner structure of every UDC concept; this information can be used during the searching process. As a final consequence, the system would be able to retrieve, without significant noise, a complete set of records collected by exploiting the full capability of the relations and rules of UDC at a high level.The goal of the presentation is to present the basic principles of a system mentioned above and demonstrate working solutions of some of its parts to prove the pertinence of the conception.
