Megjegyzések:	For the vocal music teachers in the 21st century it is inevitable to know their "instrument", the singing voice thoroughly and to improve it. The centuries-old questions of the methodology and teaching of artistic singing were defined more precisely as our knowledge in the field of the basic concepts of the singer genre's develoment, anatomy, physiology, phonetics and acoustic knowledge expanded. However, learning singing is primarily based on imitation and sensations help the development of the right functions and operations. A professional vocal music teacher not only points the way to find them but he plays the role of the outer ear due to the singer's specific situation- as the singer is the instrumentalist and the instrument itself. The third element of their work is the preparation for a singing career, which is of particular importance in the contemporary world of art is determined by the spirit of competition as well. This paper draws the main lines of today's vocal teaching methodology with regard this triple feature, based on the works of the most significant vocal teachers of the past decades.
