Megjegyzések:The quality of teacher training has become one of the most important issues in the development of the education system around the world in the past decade. Among the reasons, we find the increasingly heterogeneous composition of pupil populations involved in mass education, the spread of various international surveys, and the shortage of teachers in more and more countries. The reality shock of beginner teachers can also be decreased and their intent of staying in the profession can be strengthened by educating students with an effective pedagogical training which will result in self-confident teachers who are familiar with the different teaching activities. The paper gives an overview of the most important changes in teacher training and introduces a pedagogical module for teacher education that provides the first teaching experience for student teachers while preparing them for several key tasks of the profession such as curriculum design and classroom planning, critical-reflective attitudes and cooperation in professional learning communities (PLCs) The Microteaching Lesson Study (MLS) method proved to be a suitable tool. MLS combines the traditional tool of teacher training, microteaching and the Japanese Lesson Study (LS) method and tries to integrate this methodological toolkit into teacher training.
