Megjegyzések:	In some instances, there are certain kinds of differences between Finnish and Hungarian name types that are only clearly explicable, if issues of usage and language-external factors are considered. Lasten työnimi and seläntakaisnimi are relatively rare, informal personal name categories. Examples can be found for similar naming methods in Hungarian as well, however, it is not justified to designate a separate category for these names in our language. In Finnish, on the other hand, there are a number of communicative aspects and sometimes straightforward language-external reasons (e.g. statutory regulations) that explain their use and their frequency in the language. The present paper provides a picture about current regulations on Finnish and Hungarian first name usage and name-giving options, in order to highlight the differences and give an explanation for the existence of certain infrequent, informal Finnish name type categories (referred to with distinct linguistic terms).
