Megjegyzések:	The current study contains a scientific experiment about the "near miss" effect in gambling. The purpose of our research, on a similar note as in previous studies, was to examine whether a player's preference can be observed for a near miss round with a certain incidence rate. Previous research has concluded that players consider the near miss round with a 30% rate to be the most acceptable. A preference for the 30% near miss round can be observed in the group with no gambling experience with regard to the game they felt successful in. This group also ranked the 30% condition higher than the other incidence rates. Moreover, a marginally significant difference in the games has been detected when analysing the answers given on the Likert scale. Players rated the 30% near miss round the best, and higher scores were achieved by the other two conditions, where near miss events were present than the round with no near miss effect. These results correspond with previous studies where subjects with no gambling experience were analysed
