Megjegyzések:Over the past few decades, consumers have been increasingly concerned about healthy eating, and cereal-based products provide an excellent opportunity to satisfy their needs for healthy foods. Cereal-based healthy foods differ significantly from other healthy products; moreover, they cannot be considered a single product category in terms of factors influencing consumer acceptance. There are also significant international differences in motivations with respect to the consumption of these products. Despite these differences, however, some general conclusions can be drawn. Cereal-based products have positive health image worldwide, especially women, older consumers, those with higher income and education tend to make healthy choices. Regarding acceptance, taste proved to be absolutely paramount; the majority of consumers are not willing to compromise on taste even if they perceive the health benefits of the products. Information on health benefits, however, may increase acceptance. In addition, convenience and price usually play an important role in the choice of cereal-based healthy foods.
