Megjegyzések:	Let K be an algebraic number field and OK the ring of integers of K. Let S={?1,?,?t} be a finite set of prime ideals in OK and set OS={??K: ord?(?)?0 for all prime ideals ? of OK with ??S}. Then OS is a subring of K which is called the ring of S-integers. The group of units of OS, denoted by O?S, is called the group of S-units. For ?1,?,?n?K?, the equation (1) ?1x1+?+?nxn=1 in x1,?,xn?OS is called an S-unit equation in n unknowns. We assume that equation (1) has no vanishing subsum. We write ?n(?1,?,?n) for the number of solutions of (1). van der Poorten and Schlickewei as well as Evertse, independently, proved that (2) ?n(?1,?,?n)<? for n?2.
