Megjegyzések:	All the characters in the novel ?The Nest of Gentlefolk", who live in the rural country estate home, are interested in music. Therefore, this novel is often recognised for its musical elements which have many functions. The aim of this paper is to analyse these musical elements in the novel by focusing on the phenomenon of intermediality in the context of world literature. Other aspects of musicality can be recognised in the novel, such as the voice and language use of the characters. In this paper I would like to analyse the text from these aspects as well.
