Megjegyzések:	Farm waste accumulation is a direct outcome of the increasing agricultural operations by humans. As such, there is need to develop and embrace proper strategy to deal with this challenge. The use of Black Soldier Fly Larvae is one of the methods employed in addition to landfilling, incineration, and source reduction, among others. This paper reviews the most recent contribution of the Black Soldier Fly Larvae in dealing with farm waste in a sustainable way. BSFL was used to degrade organic waste from different sources linked to manure, barnyards, feedlot runoff, and slaughterhouses. Black Soldier Fly Larvae was efficient in transforming low-value organic resources into a more quality source of protein feed for farm animals such as poultry and fish. However, the impediments to the use of Black Soldier Fly Larvae technology included negative public perception, high infrastructure requirements, lack of adequate sensitisation, tough regulatory hurdles, and waste segregation. Therefore, sustainable waste management requires careful attention to human health and with economic and legislative considerations.
