Megjegyzések:The industrial development of the North Great Plain Region is characterised by weaker dynamism and developmental indicators in comparison with the national average - and compared to the rest of the regions in the last one and half decade. Due to the size of the region the role of the industrial sector is greater in the light of the specific indices than it expected. However, the importance of the sector in the region does not show significant difference comparing to the Hungarian statistics. In the economy of the North Great Plain Region the total contribution of the manufacturing is overrepresented to a certain extent in comparison with the national average, while branches with low value added production dominate its structure. The machine industry which has dominated the development of the manufacturing in Hungary only has a significant role in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county.
