Megjegyzések:The most ancient form of cohabitation is family where during the process o f socialization and becoming human the growing individual acquires the vital and fundamental norms, rules and patterns of behaviour necessary for the development of the self for life and the integration into the society. In this complex and constantly changing process due to external stimuli the primary samples are the parents. In addition to the role of the future social relationships and the expansion of the immediate environment, maintaining and caring the family unit is one of the most important 'tasks'. However, in the context o f modernization and the accelerated world the role of work, jobs, and thus material safety, furthermore, needs have become more important and more central to human life. As part of the struggle for a better living, several families have adopted a practice whereby work requires much more time from parents thereby reducing the quality of time spent with family members. Current issues include the emergence of the increasingly so-called transnational families where members of the family live and work in other countries, far from each other to create or enhance the financial safety o f the family. The following study explores the issue offamily unity and, in a broader sense, introduces the operation of the new transnational pattern of family and its effects on the partners and children ♭left behind' as this new situation changes the previous family model requiring new roles and responsibilities from the participants and many sacrifices from all family members to function properly.
