Megjegyzések:This paper is concerned with axially symmetric linear elastic problems analised by discontinuous finite elelent method. The formulation is based on the displacement approach modifying the total potential energy functional with the discontinuity potencial and penalty term or lifting operator. the aim of the analysis is to determine the penalty parameter when the coefficient matrix becomes positive definit, i.e. the process is stable. Numerical examples are solved for elastic problems. Some papers introduce the so called lifting operator instead of the well known penalty term. In this paper the usage of the lifting operator and the penalty term will compared.
