Megjegyzések:	The education of digital image processing becomes more and more important at our university [1,2,3], which also causes many image processing projects to begin. The background of these projects can be a tender, a theoretical investigation about a certain problem, or the solution of an elementary task of a larger system. The increasing theoretical knowledge and the rapid development of computer hardware make it possible to connect the research of different fields of science. In these common projects digital image processing takes part as a tool, so it gives a helping hand in the practical realisation of the problem. Such problems often occur in many institutes of the University of Debrecen (e.g. Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, College Faculty of Engineering, Department of Orthopedic Surgery or PET Center). Moreover the application of digital image processing methods also increases in industrial applications, where the job of theoretical researchers and developers must be in harmony. In this paper we present digital image processing projects of our university, which are based on cooperation. We share our experience about the cooperative work of scientists working on different areas, the advantages and disadvantages of this arrangement.
