Megjegyzések:	Annually, huge amount of money is spent on repairing costs, which could be significantly reduced by utilizing and steadily developing the correctly chosen technologies. The rate of abrasion highly depends on the physical and chemical features of the surface layers. Considering that the price of the special materials acceptable for the abrasion requirements is too high, it is not expedient to produce the whole component from this material. In order to enhance the economic efficiency, thermal spraying process is utilized, which is appropriate to apply different metallic and nonmetallic materials on the surface. In this paper we present the renewal of a break shaft and the mechanical parameters of the sprayed layer.
