Megjegyzések:	Not only in the public primary and secondary school systems, but especially in higher education, foreign language study has yet to find its proper place in curricula. Although a great deal has been done to launch, e.g. ESP courses in various faculties, neither the objectives, nor the roles of foreign language teaching and research in higher education were ever set in such a manner that would open the way for successful transmission of high level training in the use of L2 skills by graduates in the real work. The mismanagement of foreign language studies in higher education will remain, unless we working in this field can convince the Ministry, our academic management, parents, students and employers that the only sensible goal lays not in a standardized test, but in providing all post-secondary students with high quality courses that develop their competency in all five linguistic skills, as well as the L2 vocabulary that would reflect the knowledge each student gains in their major, in Hungarian.
