Megjegyzések:Large number of profiles were analysed by micro-tectonic methods in thecourse of our reambulating geological and tectonic studies in the Bükk and itsforegrounds. On the basis of this our opinion is that the accuracy and data density ofthe traditional mapping are not suitable for the clear interpretation of the difficultfeatures experienced in the Bükk. The fundamental problem is caused by that thepresently accepted development model of the Pannonian Basin can be questioned inseveral points. It is not consequent and compatible in its several elements with theinterpretation possibilities of the igneous activity accompanying the closure of thePannonian Basin since the late Jurassic. The meso-tectonic position of the Bükkitself is also doubtful as it is indicated by numerous authors. Belts were determined in the different parts of the mountain in which thelarge number of excellent profiles enable the interpretation of the structuralmorphogeneticunits. Comparing the interpretations of these units it is possible todetermine general tendencies for the entire mountains and to filter out localelements, unique elements and disturbing factorsThe type profile exposes a well bedded, Palaeozoic, dark grey, bituminouslimestone formation (Fig. 1). The outcrop is located in a centre and transitionalposition between the eastern and western Bükk and between the Nagyfennsík andKisfennsík areas. This paper collects and applies the methods that are constructed onthe basis of experience gained during studying the different parts of the mountain asone of the most reliable forms of data collection and documentation. The limestone of the 50 m long and around 4 m high profile has sufferedfrom plastic deformation i.e. anticlinorium like disharmonic folding resulting fromthe effect of a force pair closing an angle of 68? between each other. Thedeformations produced by the primary (PI) forces from SW are mostly removed, overprinted or rotated partly or completely by the secondary (PII) forces into theirown direction. The former are found in some points of the profile while the lattercan be excellently studied in the entire profile. In order to show the primary and secondary deformations together profileswith 4 perspective were taken with strikes of 244?-64?; 220?-40?; 210?-30? and224?-44?. Figures 2. and 3. show the profiles and the photos of best perspective andthe result of the detail data collection. The result of the deformation and force pair reconstructions are discussed inthe last part of the paper and shown in figures 6. and 7.
