Megjegyzések:	ABSTRACT : The paper presents faunistical results of dragonflies based on observations of adults in the state estimation studies carried out in 78 backwaters of the geographical region Felső-Tisza-vidék (NE-Hungary), situated in the active and ancient floodplain area of both sides of the Hungarian river reaches of Upper-Tisza between the settlements Tarpa and Cigánd (on the right riverside) furthermore Tiszabecs and Dombrád (on the left riverside). Firstly the authors present the methods employed in the observation of the specimens and in data processing, and introduce the literature they have considered in the identification of species and in reporting faunistic data. Thereafter they provide a detailed survey of the results from the backwaters and finally summarize and evaluate the data on the dragonfly fauna. Observations were made in one year (2003) by 1 specialist on 8 days and 78 localities altogether, in 14 cells (EU 64, EU 74, EU 75, EU 85, EU 86, EU 93, EU 94, EU 95, EU 96, FU 02, FU 03, FU 12, FU 22, FU 32) of the 10?10 km UTM grid map. Of the 78 backwaters in focus, no adult dragonfly specimens were recorded at all for 31 sites owing to various factors (e.g. drawdown, adverse weather, too early or too late timing of the survey). In the faunistic report information on 203 data of observed adults is given in detail. By this study 20 species (10 Zygoptera and 10 Anisoptera) were found to occur in the area, out of which 1 belongs to the very frequent, 12 to the frequent, 5 to the less frequent, 1 to the rare and 1 to the sporadic class of country-wide occurrence frequency.
