Megjegyzések:	According to Human Capital Theory, education can be seen as an investment in individualhuman capital; this enables the rates of return for these investments to be calculated in thesame way as investments in physical capital (Schultz, 1983; Becker, 1993). Returns toeducation can be examined from private, social and fiscal points of view. According to theeconomics of education and related research, private returns are higher than social returns,and social returns are higher than fiscal returns. The opposite relation, however, can be foundat some educational levels in Hungary between 2000 and 2007 (T. Kiss, 2007). In this paper,the author calculates the aforementioned rates of return for females and males, using the fullmethod. This paper asks the question, does gender matter in variations of private, social andfiscal returns?
