Megjegyzések:The authors analyzed patients treated for primary Hodgkin's disease. The case histories are presented in connection with the follow up time. Epidemiologic studies show the increased incidence during the second decade, coexisting with the unfavourable prognosis histologic subtype and advanced stage of the disease. They report the results of mostly polychemotherapeutic treatment. Survival data are presented and the causes of death are analyzed. The need for further improvement of treatment results is discussed, which is achieved by earlier diagnosis and modern treatment of the disease as well as better cooperation between the doctors involved in treating the patient.
