Megjegyzések:	Survival data of 496 patients suffering from thyroid cancer treated at State Oncologic Institute are analyzed. Authors refer that in highly differentiated subgroups - presenting the majority of cancers - the outcome of disease is influenced by the patient's age and sex, as well as, by the situation of the tumour (and not to such an extent by its measure expressed in cm). Complex treatment considering both the tumour's biologic and the patient's clinical data is considerable both from individual an economic aspects. Radical operation to be applied in medullary thyroid cancer and the characteristic entities of this disease is emphasized. Manifestation of typical characters of anaplastic subgroup is expounded and application of recent treating method is recommended.
