Megjegyzések:	The association that links non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and primary Sjögren's syndrome has been firmly documented by retrospective studies. In this study authors retrospectively studied a cohort of 400 patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome over a mean follow-up period of 7 years. Nine patients (2,2 per cent) developed malignant lymphoma. The interval between the diagnosis of primary Sjögren's syndrome and lymphoma ranged from 4 to 18 years (mean=10,2 years). They have observed in 4 cases B-cell low-grade lymphomas, while 3 patients suffered from high grade type (2 with B cell-, 1 with T cell origin), and multiple myeloma was also detected in 2 cases. Two of nine patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma died during the follow up period. Among their patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma a high frequency of parotid gland enlargement and lymphadenopathy was observed. Their results assume that, there is an increased risk for developing malignant lymphoma in patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome in contrast to normal population. The percent of observed lymphoma cases in primary Sjögren's syndrome patients was relatively lower than in most of data published earlier.
