Megjegyzések:Differentiation of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) from thrombotic microangiopathy (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, TTP and haemolytic uraemie syndrome, HUS) has important therepeutic consequences. DIC might develop both in TTP (rarely) and in HUS (frequently). Aetiologic, pathogenetic, clinical and haemostasis laboratory differences are discussed in order to help differentitation and for recognition of DIC in thrombotic microangiopathy. The appropriate treatment of these conditions is shortly discussed.
