Megjegyzések:	Comparison of lower extremity thallium scintigraphy and colour-coded duplex sonography in moderately severe arteriosclerosis obliterans. Beside the result of angiography the functitonal data are also important in the assessment of the effect of arteriosclerosis. The authors compared the physical examination completed with the measerument of Doppler indices, and two current imaging procedures in twenty-three patients with obliterative arteriosclerosis. They investigated the arterial flow of 44 lower limbs with thallium-201 perfusion scintigraphy and colour-coded Doppler sonography. These investigations showed proximal ischaemia in 16 and 23 legs, respectively, despite physical examinations that were normal or revealed only distal-type abnormalities. There was only 36 per cent agreement between the outcomes of the radionuclide and the ultrasounds methods. It is also important from the point of view of the cost/benefit ratio to clarify the exact role of these noninvasive investigations by comparative studies.
