Megjegyzések:Objective: An ideal dental composite is necessary to be in accordance with many requirements. In this studywas to examine the influence of reactive polymer nanoparticles (RPNPs) as nano-sized organofiller onmechanical properties of different composites. Mainly flexural modulus (FM), flexural stress (FS),polymerization shrinkage (PS) and rheology (R) properties were investigated. Nanocomposites (NC) wereconsisted of reference matrix and RPNPs in different weight%. Methods: RPNPs were prepared from mono-(M) and trifunctional (T) acrylate monomers in two types of mole ratio by water-born free-radicalcopolymerization. The copolymers were analyzed DLS, TEM and 1HNMR methods. The flexural strength ofreinforced resin matrices were analyzed by INSTRON 5544 instrument. The volumetric shrinkage wasanalyzed by buoyancy method in distilled water. The viscosities of NC were measured on AR 550 TAinstrument reometer. Results: The mean hydrodynamic diameters of RPNPs were in the range of 152?16.6nm at M:T=3:7 and in the range of 324?18.3 nm at M:TA=7:3 mole ratio. As excepted the viscosities of NCwere increased by the amount of filler. Statistical analysis of shrinkage showed that the shrinkage wassignificantly decreased (4.34?0.77 v/v %) by the increasing filler volume compared to the reference resin(6.97?0.46 v/v %). Flexural stress values were increased (114.11?11.22 MPa) compared to resin(54.8?5.8 MPa) however the flexural strength markers were weaken at higher filler volume. It can beexplained by the inhomogeneous distribution of filler in the matrix, creating of nanoclusters. Conclusion: Dueto the swelling of the RPNPS in the mixtures of dental monomers network structure thus NC had bettermechanical properties, became stiffer. The pre-polymer as RPNP reinforced resin matrices showed lowestPS and better FS values as resin matrix without it. This effect can be explained by the speciality of RPNPS.
