Megjegyzések:The Warnock Report (1978), and its impact on inclusion today, is well knownamong those who deal with remedial education and inclusion. Few know, however,about the circumstances of its 'birth', i.e. where the name of the Report comes from.Even fewer know about the 'Second Warnock Report' (2005) in spite of the fact that ithas frequently been referred to recently.The aim of this study is to present Mary Warnock's ideas and the role she played in the 'birth' of the reports and the ideas of the 70s that she rethought and reinterpreted on thebasis of the experiences of 20 years. In addition, the two Warnock Reports deal with thereasons, events and results which influence and drive inclusion today in most countriesas well as in Hungary. In this study among other Hungarian acts and documents, whichare determinant in the field, the Act on Public Education as one of the key conditions oflong term social integration, is discussed.
