Megjegyzések:Beginning with the measuring of the length of an arc we try to point out some interesting questions about the concept of length and distance. Our approach, by several interesting and sometimes astonishing examples, can make attentive students who study and teachers as well who lecture mathematics. By start we demonstrate a simple problem which seems to be rather paradox to think of it. We try to solve the problem by a few paralleled definitions of length and distance. While the original problem remains unsolved, we hope have the interest risen for the question. Readers find in appendices some important definitions used by the paper.
