Megjegyzések:	We have investigated the disease susceptibility and the maximal LAI values of sunflower hybrids in different types of crop years (2012, 2013) and their ability to realize their yield potentials under different climatic conditions and in the case of different plant densities. We applied two different plant density (35000 tő ha-1, 55000 tő ha-1) and two different treatment levels of fungicides (control = no fungicides applied, double fungicide protection). The field experiment investigating two sunflower hybrids of different genotypes (Paraiso 1000, ES Tectonic) was set at the Látókép Experimental Farm of the CAAES of the University of Debrecen. The increasing of the plant number increased Diaporthe and Alternaria infections in the cases of both hybrids and treatments. During our studies, the maximal LAI values varied between 4.4 and 6.7 m2/m2, depending on the hybrid, the plant number and the fungicide treatment. The highest LAI values were measured in July in both cropyears. During our investigation, the yield results of the cropyear 2012 (1828-3458 kg ha-1) were significantly below those of the cropyear of 2013 (4292-5902 kg ha-1). With respect to the yield amount, the higher plant density (55000 plant ha-1) were optimal.
