Megjegyzések:The wing feather moult in the Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos) was studied during June 2008 near Bátorliget in East-Hungary. 21 birds were examined. All the birds were caught in mist nets by using tape recorder and ringed with individually numbered aluminium rings. Fifteen of the 21 birds have already replacedtheir feathers on the 6th of June. Four birds followed a different moulting pattern from the others. These birdsalmost finished the replacing of the primaries, but the moulting did not spread to the secondaries. These specimens had very short first primary (similar or shorter than the greatest wing cover) and longer maximal wing length, than Luscinia megarhynchos megarhynchos. According to these experiences this local population maybe follow an alternative moult strategy (e.g. a kind of suspended moult of the secondaries).
