Megjegyzések:	The low level of children's text interpretation has recently come into prominence. Not only readingbut also its comprehension is a complex process. Here below we introduce the partial results of a survey on a nationwide sample of 700 persons. The aim of the survey was to get a picture about the level of reading comprehenson concerning children of middling capacity. On the other hand we also intended to compare their results with these of students in talent-orianted schools. The final results are quite surprising in some cases, especially if we compare them to a survay carried out 10 years ago.
