The fossil fuels represent a significant proportion in Hungarian energy balance and the majority of theseis import energy. The proportion of renewable energy sources must be increase that we narrow the energydependence the energy cost of municipalities we increase the energy security and we consider the aspects ofenvironment. In order to this, the government created the small, household size power plant category in theElectricity law. This power plants should be not greater than 50 kW's performance. The all capacity was more 0.51MW altogether in end of year but it has already near to MWs in end of year. The of installedcapacity come from renewable energy source and the 99.0% come from solar energy. This capacity increase isremarkable despite that for excess production payed price is lower that full end consumer price. So electricitysaving and the environmental awareness generated the capacities growth only in Hungary. The purpose of theinvestigations is to establish, that how can participate in the built capacity of the small, household size power plantcategory in the electricity supply of Hungarian municipalities? So how many percentages of electricity demand cangratify this electricity power on the municipalities?
