Megjegyzések:The paper summarizes the most important results achieved in Chemistry Department of UD in the last six decades on colloid and surface chemistry. Describes the main milestones and bifurcation points appeared in the checkered history of colloid and surface chemistry in Debrecen until 2010. Recently, a new perspective has been opened by combination of NMR spectroscopy and colloid science. Since 2011 a new research group, named Laboratory of Environmental Colloids continues the activity in this field.
