Megjegyzések:	Nine mounds located within the National Park of Hortobágy were investigated after the abandonment of their cultivation, regarding their most important soil properties such as aggregate stability, nitrogen and phosphorus content, pH, organic carbon content and secondary carbonates. Due to the machinery cultivation most of them were plowed during the 20th century. After setting new legislative frames of their preservation, former cultivated mounds were abandoned and spontaneous regeneration processes of vegetation and soil could start on the ex lege protected mounds. According to 32/2010 FVM ministerial decree no further cultivation is allowed on the mounds, except for preparation of setting grasslands. However there are no uniform policies for their management and restoration. During spontaneous regeneration of grasslands weeds and invasive species can spread in lack of pasturing or mowing. After abandonment of cultivation the mounds were exposed to many different mismanagement problems. For example: dirt roads were settled crossing the mounds, they were used for deposition of fertilizers and manure. We found, that the topsoil layer of the mounds differs significantly according their management history: below grasslands higher organic content and lower concentration of N and P was measured. Over the 4 years investigation period starting after the abandonment (2012) only in order of the P concentration significant change (decreasing) could be detected. The regeneration concerning of other features requires longer period.
